The NSF Arctic Research Support & Logistics Program will hold a Town Hall meeting during the American Geophysical Union Fall Meeting in San Francisco, California. The meeting will be held Thursday morning, 15 December 2016, from 8:00 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. in the Arctic Community Meeting Room, Foothill E, in the San Francisco Marriott Marquis.
Topics of discussion will include: introduction of new program officers, an overview of the previous and current year’s budget portfolio, program plans for facilities and infrastructure, and recent developments and updates for Arctic-wide logistics. This open meeting will also provide an opportunity to ask questions and give feedback to the program officers. Contact Jennifer Mercer (jmercer at nsf.gov) with any questions.
Following the NSF Town Hall, the Summit Station Science Coordination Office (SCO) will be holding an open meeting from 9:15-10 am in Foothill E following the RSL Town Hall. The purpose of this meeting is to inform interested members of the science community about current and planned science, upcoming significant developments for the station and surrounding area and the Greenland Inland Traverse (GrIT), and discuss recent Greenland Telescope activities.
